E36: The Somatic and Embodied Solution for Overwhelm and Burnout
In today's podcast episode I want to invite you to explore the topic that resonates with many of us - how to deal with overwhelm and burnout. This subject comes up a lot in my conversations with other practitioners - in our mentoring and training sessions. I believe that it's important to acknowledge the impact of our society's expectations and the glorification of busy-ness, productivity and efficiency on how we approach our work and life. Ultimately the reason why so many of us embrace self-employment is to create more balance and freedom in our lives but the reality of running your own business can be very different to what we imagined.
In this episode I share with you a simple solution to creating more balance in your work and life, and share somatic practices that can help you regain control and stability.
