E68: Honoring the Embodied Journey: Reflections on Growth, Challenges, and New Milestones

In this podcast episode I’m taking a moment to reflect and celebrate the journey of growth and transformation. As I record this during our 2024 Virtual Summit, Through a Trauma-Informed Lens: Become an Empowered Changemaker, I’m filled with gratitude for the incredible practitioners and speakers I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with. I also want to share some personal reflections and celebrations from the past two years - from growing our training Institute and launching my 160-hour Trauma-Informed Somatic Teacher and Coach for Women certification to embracing new ways of caring for myself and living alcohol free life, slowing down, and living more intentionally.

I’ll be talking about the significance of seasonal transitions, the upcoming celebration of my 51st birthday, and the importance of feminine embodiment and building a supportive community. This is a special time of year for me, and I want to invite you to join me in pausing to celebrate everything we’ve accomplished, both personally and professionally.

Whether you’ve been part of the summit or not, I encourage you to take some time to reflect, appreciate the richness of life, and find joy in the process of growth. I’m excited to share this journey with you. Let’s dive in together!

In this episode I'm sharing:

  • Overview of the virtual summit "Through a Trauma Informed Lens: Become an Empowered Changemaker."

  • Personal reflections on growth and experiences during the summit.

  • Significance of September as a time for new beginnings and transitions.

  • Decision to stop drinking alcohol and its transformative impact on their life.

  • Importance of celebrating achievements and personal growth.

  • Quarterly planning retreats for reassessing goals and aligning business practices with seasonal rhythms.

  • Development of a 160-hour Trauma-informed Somatic Teaching and Coaching certification for women.
