Trauma-Informed Somatic Coaching: 10 Gentle Invitations for Feminine Embodied Leadership

Today, I want to offer something a little different. This isn’t a strategy or training or productivity hack. It’s a softly held space to reflect, reconnect, and gently reimagine what might become possible for you as a Trauma-informed Somatic Coach and Teacher or practitioner.

Before we begin, take a moment to arrive.

Can you pause… check in with your breath… and notice how you are?

This simple practice - sensing into your body and returning to yourself - is a foundational part of all the work we do in our 160-hour Trauma-Informed Somatic Teacher and Coach for Women© Certification.

Today, I want to share 10 gentle invitations to step deeper into your feminine embodied leadership - drawn from my own lived experience and years of mentoring and coaching women across our trauma-informed somatic training programs.

I invite you to read these not just with your mind… but tuning into the responses within your body.
Notice what resonates.
Notice what stirs longing or resistance.
Notice what feels true.

1. Imagine if your presence alone could create safety…

Not because you had a perfect script or because you were the expert.

But because you were present - grounded, attuned, and connected to your own body and wisdom.

Because your nervous system was regulated enough to offer co-regulation.

This is what happens when we stop just learning about the nervous system - and begin embodying it.

2. Imagine if you didn’t have to leave parts of yourself at the door…

What if your sensitivity, your neurodiversity or your midlife transitions weren’t problems - but superpowers?

What if your struggles were sacred, and your lived story was your wisdom and power?

This is the return to wholeness. The real you. No fixing. No polishing. Just presence.

3. Imagine if you no longer felt like a fraud…

Not because you have it all figured out - but because you’re deeply rooted in your embodied presence.

Confidence doesn’t come from ego. It comes from presence, nervous system regulation, daily practice, and trusting in your enoughness.

4. Imagine if your sessions became spaces for deep transformation…

Not through performing or fixing - but by holding presence for another with curiosity, openness and kindness.

By witnessing what’s alive.

By resonating with the other without needing to change or rescue them.

This is the heart of trauma-informed somatic work.

5. Imagine if your nervous system felt safe, grounded, and steady…

If you didn’t crash after sessions.

If you stopped living in overdrive and constant busyness.

If you could consistently come back to yourself with kindness and care.

What would your life feel like if this was your new baseline?

6. Imagine if you stopped chasing more certifications to prove your worth…

If you trusted that you already know enough and are enough.

Learning would become a joy - not a way to cover over not-enoughness.

You would walk your talk from a place of truth and deep integrity.

7. Imagine if your story was cherished, not treated like a problem to fix…

If your struggles and needs were honoured.

If your lived wisdom was accepted as a sacred source of your embodied wisdom.

If you were held by a circle of women who saw you in your wholeness.

This is one of the most powerful pieces of our training - women being deeply seen held with compassion.

8. Imagine if you felt truly held, not just as a practitioner, but as a woman…

Not just a face on Zoom among hundreds of other faces.

Not just a student in another course without your voice and unique view being heard.

But someone who is seen, supported, and known.

Where you could share your doubts and still be respected.

Where you no longer felt alone.

9. Imagine if you no longer had to prove your worth…

If you stopped performing or pleasing just to prove you are good enough.

If your visibility came from a state of thriving, not a state of survival.

What if sharing your voice felt like an offering, not a push?

Because this kind of soul-led visibility creates real connection - not overwhelm and burnout.

10. Imagine if your next step wasn’t about doing more…

…but becoming more you.

Reclaiming your passion.
Living from your values.
Leading from your soma, psyche and soul.

Letting your body and wholeness, and embodied wisdom guide you every step of the way.

What lands in you?

Which invitation speaks to you most today?
Which one brought up resistance or longing?

Let it guide you and show you what’s your next step need to be.

And if your body whispered “yes” - even softly - to one or more of these invitations, I want to gently invite you to explore our next cohort of the:
